Calandra (Calando I/Landjunker II/Carneval/Marlon stamm 776) bred by Marina Leuders and imported from Stall Hell and stems from the best sport horse stamm in the world(776 including Ramiro, Acorado, Luis J, Leandra, Calvados I/II, Waleska, and Calinello, Vienna Olympic) and is by one of the best broodmare sires in the world, Calando I. Calando I is the broodmare sire of Olympic Carthago and Canturo, Cascavelle and Lord Calando, Cayado among others. Calandra has already produced a 53 Bonit Site Champion mare by Acord III as well as a full sister jumping 1.3m. She also has a Hunter champion by Graf Grannus II.
Calandra has produced 10 foals, and the 8 that were presented were premium. Her latest by Quite Easy I is a filly, and will be retained for breeding. Corsen SR, by Connor was the champion colt at his Future Event Horse class as a yearling, and Champion YEH 4 year old in 2015. Her filly by Cassiano was the Maplebrook 4 and 5 year old circuit champion under Lindsey Fletcher and awarded premium status at her inspection. All of her foals are athletic, tall, leggy, with explosive movement. They are extremely tactile, and enjoy being worked with. And everyone who has started one of her offspring has stated that it was the easiest horse to start and believed they had been prepared before. Don't wait to get a foal from this truly one of a kind Holsteiner mare. Calandra is currently open for 2016

Corsen SR v. Connor
Here is Corsen SR, by the Holsteiner Stallion Connor - Casall/Corde/Capitol stamm 6879 out of Calandra. He has won at Training level, and scored a 20's in dressage. He is coming back out in 2017 at Preliminary, and we expect good things from him.
Carrington is a very typey colt with a strong topline and very good movement. He demonstrates a lot of presence.
Hylea SR v. Quite Easy I
Here is Hylea SR by Quite Easy I at her inspection. Hylea has been kept for breeding.
Hylea SR 776
Hylea SR is a modern daughter from our Foundation mare N Calandra. She is by the very successful stallion Quite Easy I sire of many GP jumpers and dressage horses. Quite Easy I is by none other then Quidam de Revel out of Birte II, a Landgraf I daughter out of the full sister of Capitol. He was the leading sire at the Famous Flyinge State stud of Sweden, and then was sold to famous french stud Haras de Brullemail.
Not only was Quite Easy I sire of GP Jumpers and Dressage horses, but he also competed in GP jumping and dressage himself. This is all the more amazing when you know that this was done without the use of one of his eye's. He was born with only one working eye, and it clearly never held him back.
Hylea SR's dam, N Calandra was our first Holsteiner mare and after producing 9 super offsping, we decided to keep one for ourselves. Please click on Calandra's page to learn more about Hylea's siblings. Hylea SR is just growing up, and will have her first foal in 2019
Hylea SR Inspection 2015
Hylea SR was a premium foal at her inspection and was the reserve champion at her site with a 8 for type and and 8 movement.
Grace is the newest edition to our mare heard. She grew up in the fields at Hengstation Haselau in Germany. She was bred by us and our partner at Bayhawk Stables from our mare Canturana - Canturo/Acorado/Ramiro stamm 776 who was bred by the late Uwe Bahlmann, Breeder of Ramiro and Acorado I. She was a premium foal and her mother has a 10 on jump. Her sire is none other then the Great Casall Ask, the best son of Caretino. Caretino was the best son of Caletto II. Canturana is by Canturo, arguably one of the best son of Cantus who was the best son of Caletto I. Then comes Acorado, who is the best son of Acord II. Ramiro needs no introduction. The Acorado mother, Synphonie II is the best Acorado mother in the world, with 54 bonits and a blue hen mare. As you can see, there is a theme here. We bred with the best from the best. We expect her first foal in 2018 and look to continue this trend. She just returned from her Mare Performance and received a 9.5 for jumping and an 8.5 for rideability. Test video attached here. She has been bred to Marcus Ehnings super horse Comme IL Faut - Cornet Obolensky out of the Great Ratina Z Ramiro/Alme.

Valeta was purchased from Bay Hawk Stables in 2012 and entered into the AHHA Main Mare book in 2013. Prior to coming to Sparling Rock, Valeta was approved by the German Oldenburg Verband and produced two of the highest scoring foals in North America. She was approved with the American Holsteiner Horse Assoc. in 2013 and entered into the Main Mare book. One of her sons has gone on to be an approved GOV stallion and 70 day test graduate. Her sire, Cathalido, is the full brother to the approved sire Cormint (Calido/Carthago/Lord), and proven produer of top broodmares. Cathalido himself is a 1.6m GP international Jumper which makes 4 in a row in her pedigree. Valeta descends from a small but potent stamm, 318a2. This stamm is responsible for Magnat II(Leading sire of jumpers in US), Carlo (top 4 ranked show jumper in the world), Margie Engle's Calippo, and International show jumper Coulthard Top. Valeta's mother was imported from Germany and is by the top L line stallion and international jumper Lavaletto. Her full brother won the Grand Prix in Stuttgart and was sold for €2 million. Valeta's dam's sister is dam to approved stallion Quidam's Acord. Valeta appears to be following in her families foot steps and we look forward to many great things.
Valeta was unfortunately lost to colic. She will be sorely missed.
Fina was site co-champion at the 2013 AHHA Foal Inspection. She is very quick and catty, with an explosive canter. She has a great mind but is full of blood, a great combination for a top sport horse or brood mare prospect.
